The one problem with Xen is transparent high availability of your servers, sure you can snapshot an image but thats only of you shutdown the virtual machine. How excited was I when Remus announced that it has been applied to the official Xen repository, and is expected to be included with the next major release.

The Xen hypervisor, the powerful open source industry standard for virtualization, offers a powerful, efficient, and secure feature set for virtualization of x86, x86_64, IA64, ARM, and other CPU architectures. It supports a wide range of guest operating systems including Windows, Linux, Solaris, and various versions of the BSD operating systems.
This is a very simple installation of XEN visualization that I will be using in future posts as a reference.
